Gary S. Sprague “Spudge” age 63, passed away at Guardian Center in Brockton on Friday, December 19, 2014.
Spudge is survived by his father, Harry F. Sprague Sr. and his wife Margaret of Vermont, his mother, Betty Anne Kingsbury of Athol, his 2 brothers, Harry F. Sprague Jr. and his wife Patricia of Weymouth and Paul Sprague and his partner Ellen Delorey of Brockton. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles.
Gary was born and grew up in Weymouth, graduated from Weymouth High School in 1969 and lived in Abington for the last 25 years. He was a lifelong self-employed Contractor and served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday, December 23 from 4 to 7 PM immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Spudge’s memory to the Dana Farber/ Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center, 101 Columbian St. S. Weymouth, 02190.
