Peggy Lee Conway 82, passed away Thursday, December 18,2014 at The Masonic Home of Kentucky. She was the former Peggy Sutherland and was born in Woodford County,Ky. Mrs. Conway was retired from Gray Coblin Porter Architect Firm and she was a volunteer secretary for The Masonic Homes of Kentucky. Mrs. Conway was a member of The Ascension Episcopal Church in Frankfort,Ky. She was a past Worthy Matron and secretary for Eastern Star Hiram #4, Friendship Court #22 of the Amaranth, and a member of Delta Theda Chi Sorority. Mrs. Conway received The Lincoln award for 2014 from The Grand Lodge of Kentucky for her volunteer work and also help start the transportation unit at Oleika Shriners Temple for helping take children to the Shiners Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents Lon Pete and Gladys Sutherland and brothers Herman, Billy Scott, and Leon Sutherland and her sister Joyce Marie Story. Survived by her husband Joseph R. Conway, daughters Lonajean Morgan Conway Strickland (Paul) Vicki Lynn Bunker (George) and a son Joseph Robert Conway,III (Nanette). Brothers James Paul, Tony Mac, Melvin Douglas, and Dwayne Sutherland and a special niece Karen Rae Burton 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. There are many special nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday December 22,2014 at The Olmstead 3701 Frankfort Avenue on the grounds of the Masonic Home of Kentucky. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be Sunday December 21,2014 at The Olmstead from Noon till 8:oopm and Monday 11am-1pm. Expressions of Sympathy to The Masonic Homes of Kentucky.
