Alvin H. Howard, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Louisville, KY.
He was born in Arthur, KY. Alvin was employed by Stauffer Chemical, Caleb-Britt, and CITGO.
Alvin was a member, and deacon of Shawnee Baptist Church, and is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Waynetta May (Burt); his children, Jimmy Howard, Karen Hatfield (Greg), Sherry Blandford (Donald), Lois Jones (John), and Melonie Renfro (Ray); eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; a sister, LaVerne Walton.
His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Shawnee Baptist Church, 2214 Bank St. at 11:00AM and visitation at 10:00 for friends, until time of service at the church.
Visitation will be Friday 2:00 – 8:00PM at Owen Funeral Home,
5317 Dixie Hwy.
