Hunt, Michael Conway Sr., 66, of Louisville passed away Tuesday December 16, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Michael was born in Fort Knox, KY and a U. S. Army Drill Sgt. during Vietnam War.
He was a Project Engineer with B. F Goodrich & a former Elder at Briargate Presbyterian Church. Michael loved the outdoors & loved to hunt & fish. He was an avid U of K fan & loved to play basketball.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Emily Hunt; two brothers, Corky Hunt & Donald Hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Beth (Christensen) Hunt; three sons, Michael Conway “Chip” Hunt Jr. Chad Eric Hunt (Kara) & Jeremy Hunt; two sisters, Joy Hornback (Bob), & Bonnie Hendricks (Rick); a brother, Terry Hunt (Jean); eight grandchildren, Trey, Dylan, Dale, Ethan, Elle, Savannah, Landon & Aubrey.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 3:00 – 8:00 pm Saturday & after 11:00 am Sunday.
