Erick Saúl Hernández of Framingham passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Tufts Medical Center of Boston. He was only twenty-eight years old.
Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, he was the devoted son of Saul and Patricia (Sosa) Hernández of Framingham. Erick came to the United States at the age of three and lived in Natick for one year before settling in Framingham.
He was a 2004 graduate of Framingham High School and then attended Mt. Ida College and Framingham State. Mr. Hernandez worked for Philip’s Lifeline for five years, Bernardi Toyota of Framingham for a year and finally with BNY Mellon of Westborough as a customer service representative.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, was a prankster and enjoyed telling jokes. Besides playing JV Football at Framingham High School, he played basketball and was a Barcelona Soccer and New England Revolution fan.
He was blessed with an artistic talent and would animate, draw and graphic design in his spare time. He was the loving brother of Dr. Patricia Sánchez-Connally and her husband Jean Connally of Roslindale and the late Jose Hernández.
Caring uncle and godfather of Jayden Sanchez Connally. Also survived by a large extended family in El Salvador and California, many close friends and his dog “Rookie”.
Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Saturday, December 20th at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Stephen’s Church, 221 Concord St., Framingham at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday, December 19th from 4:00-7:00PM. Burial in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Framingham.
