Fern (Hutchings) Caruso, lifelong resident of Medford, died Tuesday, December 16 in the Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Mary (Marshall) Hutchings.

Fern was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Caruso and the devoted mother of Diane Barry of Dennisport, Russell Caruso and his wife Elaine of Wakefield, James Caruso and his wife Ruth of Holliston, and the late George “Freddy” Caruso. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Saturday, December 20 at 5:00PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 2 – 5PM prior to the service. Interment will be private.
