E. Louise (Richmond) Olson, age 81, of Salem, NH, died Monday at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
Louise was born in Somerville, MA, where she grew up and was educated. She was a resident of Salem for the past 53 years.
Louise was a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA. She was a charter member of the Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church in Salem, NH. She was active in the Salem and Windham Senior Citizens. Louise enjoyed knitting for family, friends, as well as for several charities in town and different organizations. She enjoyed trips to Arizona and loved spending summers at Cobbetts Pond in Windham, where she was a member of the association. She was always dignified, never complained, and faced all life’s challenges as a lady. Most of all Louise loved her family and was an amazing mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Olson
She is survived by her Daughter: Cheryl and her husband Kevin Carney of Derry, NH
Sons: Carl and his wife Mary Beth Olson of Danville, NH
Craig and his wife Tiffany Olson of Hallendale Beach, FL
Grandchildren: Matthew and his wife Corris Carney, Christopher Carney, Donovan, Carolyn, and Robert Olson
Special Cousins: Ellen, Phyllis, and Jimmy. Special thanks to her compassionate doctors: Dr. Vartan Yeghiazarains, Dr. Demitrius Rivos, and Dr. Bijan Sadrnoori.
A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday Dec. 20th at 11 AM at the Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, 101 Zion Hill Rd. Salem, NH. There are no calling hours.
