Laconia--Aline I. (Auclair) Sirois, 76, of 33 Amherst Court, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 with her loving husband of 57 years, David, at her side.
Aline was born in Manville, Rhode Island on April 2, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Marie-Anne (Chicoine) and J. Octave Auclair. She and her husband were natives of Rhode Island before moving to Holderness, New Hampshire following David's retirement in 1984. They moved to Laconia in 2004.
Aline was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #15 in Ashland. She loved watching baseball games, enjoyed water aerobics, playing bingo, wintering in Florida with her husband and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Sirois Jr., of Laconia; their two sons, Dennis A. Sirois of Lincoln, R.I. and Douglas A. Sirois and his wife, Stacy, of Laconia, N.H.; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Duncan Sirois, both of Laconia, N.H.; a brother, Roger Auclair, and his wife, Theresa, of Manville, R.I. and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Aline was predeceased by her siblings, Yvonne Bedard and Roland Auclair.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Andre Bessette Parish at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N.H.
A burial will follow at 1:00PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N.H.
There will be a reception, after the burial, at 3:00PM at the Beane Conference Center, 35 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, N.H.
