Obituary

Richard J. “Twerpa” Brady, 88 of Natick and formerly of Cape Cod, died Monday, December 15th at the Carlyle House in Framingham.
He was the beloved husband of the late Helen L. (Fannon) Brady who died in 1999.
A Natick resident for more than 75 years he was born in Natick the son of the late Patrick and Ella (Johnson) Brady.
Mr. Brady was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years retiring in 1986.
He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II.
Mr. Brady enjoyed playing slow pitch softball, and was member of several teams in the Natick and Cape Cod leagues for many years.
He was the Director for the State of Massachusetts Sampson WW-2 Naval Veterans Organization.
He is survived by three daughters Patricia Moody and her husband Russ of Framingham, Barbara Proia and her husband Armando of Framingham, Kathleen Millerick and her husband Frank of Ashland, three sons Robert Brady and James Brady of Natick, John Brady of TN, son in law David Care of Milford, one brother Robert Brady of Franklin, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Michael Brady, Richard Brady and Margaret Care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common. Visiting hours are Wednesday beginning at 4:00 P.M. prior to the service.
Burial with Military Honors on Thursday at 11:30 A.M. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
