Francesco "Frank" Giammarco, 75 of Medford, died Friday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford.

Born in Italy, he lived in Medford since 1989 and formerly of the North End of Boston. He was the son of the late Concetta (Del Monaco) and Gregorio Giammarco. Frank was Laborer and a member of Local # 22 for 30 years and retired in 1998. He spoke French, Italian and English. He was an avid gardener.

Beloved husband of Giovanna (Ricci) Giammarco. Devoted father of Domenico Giammarco of Chelmsford and Gregorio Giammarco of Medford. Brother of Maria Frabotta of Switzerland, Domenichina Bono of Italy and the late Giovanni Giammarco. Funeral from the Dello Russo

Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
