Mary G. Saladino

Mary G. Saladino passed away peacefully on Friday evening at the Choate assisted living facility in Woburn. She was 85. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Filomena (Vadaro) Capone. After her marriage she and her husband moved to Arlington where they raised their son. Mary worked as a stitcher in the upholstery business at her brother John’s shop, “Elite Upholstery”. A devout woman, Mary was devoted to her family.

The beloved wife of the late Saverio “Sam” Saladino who passed away in 1975, she was a devoted mother to Paul Saladino and his wife Susan of Woburn. She was a loving grandmother to Samantha Saladino-Terrio and her husband Michael of Stoneham and a loving great-grandmother of Sophia and Stella Terrio. The dear sister of the late Raymond, John and Buster Capone, Mary leaves many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, Dec. 17th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8.
