Frank A. Russo passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington on Wednesday afternoon. He was 75. Frank was born in Boston and raised in Roxbury, son of the late James and Gladys (Warren) Russo. A Medford resident for 50 years, Frank was married to his wife Grace when he was 19 and worked as a hair dresser in Boston, until his retirement. He owned and operated his own shop, “The Hair Cutting Place” on Newbury St. He later worked at “Persona”, also on Newbury St. He enjoyed wonderfull relationships with his many clients throughout the years. A devoted family man, Frank was an avid golfer who was quite competitive on the course. He was an enthusiast of tai chi and practiced yoga with his grandson Alex.

The beloved husband of the late Grace (Matteo) Russo, he is survived by his devoted children: Paula Kalil and her husband Domenic of North Andover, Frank J Russo and his wife Sue of Wakefield. He was a loving grandfather to Alex, Christian and Felicia. He was a dear brother to Ann Marie Russo of Weymouth, James Russo of Weymouth and the late Joseph Russo. He also leaves his many nieces and nephews: Ron Gates, Christine Keane, Steven Matteo, Roseann Ogborn, Diane Proudy, Donna Albanese, Deborah Keen, Darlene Aldred, Sherry Hoffman, Celia Cote and Otto Hansen.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, December 17th from 2 thru 6 PM with a service of remembrance at 5:30 PM.

It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions be made in Frank’s name to the St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
