Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, December 10, 2014, Mr. Odis “Pete” Moody, 87, loving husband to Ann Clark Moody.
Mr. Moody was a native of Baxley, GA but lived in the Augusta area many years. He was the founder of Moody Tire Service established in 1980.Mr. Moody was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Yvonne and Fred Maltsberger of Chuckey, Tennessee and Faye and Travis Weathers of Augusta; son: Ronald and June Moody of Blythe, GA; and step-children: Patricia and Ceasar Romero, Kay and the late Wayne Cox, the late Cheryl Reece, Jimmy and Cheryl Drawdy, Craig and Kim Drawdy, Bobby and Roseann Drawdy, Eddie and Jeanie Drawdy and Candi and Nathan Miles; additional family members raised by Mr. Moody Nikki Drawdy and Alicia Smith; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his son: Bobby Moody.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Don Prosser officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Johnny Smith, Justen Lee Widener, Michael Ellis, Steven Drawdy, Brian Drawdy, Max Wilcher, Brandon Lee Drawdy and Jamie Testi. Honorary pallbearers will be James E. Drawdy, Sr., Richard Craig Drawdy, Edward Harrison Drawdy, Jr., Brayden Chase Drawdy, Richard C. Drawdy, Jr. and James E. Drawdy, Jr.
