Steven J. Perry of Fall River, a former longtime Taunton resident passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 10, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Mr. Perry was 60 years old. He is survived by the mother of his 3 youngest daughters; Cheryl Perry of Taunton. Steven was the proud father of Jennifer Perry, Michael Perry, Stephanie Tripp, Patty Grealish-Rust, Courtney Perry, Chelsey Perry and Cassie Perry Mr. Perry leaves behind several grandchildren. He is survived by his loving brother Michael Perry and his wife Amelia of Dighton. Steven also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Steven was born on April 16, 1954 in Taunton and was the son of the late Alfred M. and Jessie E. (Withers) Perry. He embraced life to the very fullest and loved playing golf. He also enjoyed the outdoors and would often camp in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and ride his Harley Davidson. Mr. Perry was a talented carpenter who loved listening to the music of his favorite band, The Grateful Dead. He had a special relationship with many people, especially his granddaughter Gabbie.
A Celebration of Life will be held with a gathering at Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. Taunton (off Route 140/Tremont St.) on Monday December 22nd at 11am.
