Mark C. Gross age 66 of Canton passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Dorchester, Mark spent his childhood years in Randolph, moved to Canton at the age of 10 and graduated from Canton High School and Stonehill College. Mark worked for many years in the Travel Industry in the Reservations Department for TWA Airlines and in later years owned and operated a painting company. Mark loved going to yard sales, buying and restoring antiques, spending time at the beach and most especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Beloved husband of Jill M. (Dailey). Father of Tara Matthews and her husband Rob of Raynham and Christopher Gross and his wife Sarah of West Babylon, NY. Brother of Joseph “Jody” Gross and his wife Janet of ME and Lynne Bernardini and her husband Michael of Stoughton. Grandfather of Chase Matthews, Tyler, Maggie and Emmi Gross. Also survived by a large extended family. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Friday morning at 10:30. Burial Private.
