Maurice A. Beaudet 90, formerly of Jenckes St. died Thursday, December 4, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Laura (Dufresne) Beaudet with whom he was married for sixty nine years. Mr. Beaudet was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Donald and Rose Alma (Masse) Beaudet. He was a weaver for many Woonsocket textile mills. He also worked for Rite-Cap Tire of Woonsocket.
Mr. Beaudet is survived by his daughter Lorraine Glassey and her husband Armand of Woonsocket, a son Lucien M. Beaudet of Somerville, TX, five grandchildren, Brian, Caryn, Ryan, Ralph, and Raymond, and eight great-grandchildren, Zoe, Kendra, Abby, Deryn, Lily, Mally, Colleen, and Raymond and his loving care givers at The Holiday Retirement Home. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Renee, sisters, Florence Berube, Rachel Toupin, Beatrice Gerlache, and a brother Rene Beaudet.
A private burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home.
