Dorothy J. Stothard 78, died Friday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late George Stothard. She was born in North Smithfield, a daughter of the late Michael and Clara (Oleck) Gurski. Dorothy worked at Crest Manufacturing for twenty years before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Gary Stothard and his wife Tina, and daughter Debra Stothard all of Woonsocket, a brother Thomas Gurski of Milton, FL and sister
Constance Breton of Clifton Park, NY, and a grandson Kevin Lavallee.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.
