Laconia-----Richard “Dick” H. Plummer, 56, of 334 South Main Street #3, died suddenly at home on Monday, November 24, 2014 after a long illness.
Mr. Plummer was born June 22, 1958 in Laconia, N.H., the son of Richard W. and Geraldine (Little) Plummer. He was a follower and believer of Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.
Mr. Plummer was a lifelong resident of Laconia and had been employed at Genesis Behavioral Health for sixteen years. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his son, Richard W. Plummer of Florida; four grandchildren, Zachary, Gabriel, Regan and Logan; his mother, Geraldine Soucy, and her husband, Oscar, of Farmington; his brother, Dirk Plummer, of Laconia; two sisters, Brenda Brown of Middleton and Colleen Casavant of Farmington; four nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Richard W. Plummer.
Mr. Plummer was an avid out-door enthusiast. He loved his family very much and enjoyed all celebrations. He also enjoyed road trips, coffee outings, weekly shopping trips with his Mom and his “doggie pal”, Henry, and helping others. He will surely be missed.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beane Conference Center, 35 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, N.H. on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Genesis Behavioral Health, 111 Church Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
