Loving mother of Mary Gifford and her husband Joseph of Jamaica Plain, Therese Doyle of Roslindale, Francis Welby and his wife Susan of Melrose, Catherine Walsh and her huband James of Canton, Patricia Sullivan of Dedham, Matthew Welby and hie wife Roberta of NJ, Joseph Welby and his wife Laura of Hyde Park, John Welby and his partner Stan Kozlowski of Framingham, Dorothy Mucciarone and her husband Robert of Walpole, Michael Welby and his fiancée of Jamaica Plain, and the late Margaret Raymond. Sister of Dennis Toomey of PA, and Joseph Toomey of Norwell, and the late John E. Toomey Jr. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday, Dec 9th 8:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Jamaica Plain, at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Mary was a long time devoted Parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas.
