Paul J. Heffron Jr. 79, of Sherborn and Falmouth died Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Milford Regional Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Roberta H. (Hesek) Heffron sharing 53 years of marriage.
A lifelong resident of Sherborn he was born in Framingham the son of the late Paul J. and Genevieve (Bulgarelli) Heffron.
Mr. Heffron was a Master Carpet Installer for 45 years working with his friend the late Dick Maguire.
He maintained an impeccable reputation among his peers in the business, and his many loyal and grateful customers who appreciated his efficient measurement skills, neatness, and overall quality of the jobs he installed. Mr Heffron was also a proud member of the Sherborn Fire Department for 25 years, and was a Veteran of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
Paul enjoyed fishing, got great results working in the vegetable garden with his seemingly “two green thumbs”, had the ability to fix anything around the house.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Francis Heffron of Worcester, two daughters Susanne Heffron and Ellen Heffron both of Sherborn, three grandchildren, Sophie Hunter, Alexander Hunter and Harrison Hunter, and nephew Albert Snow of Medway.
He was also the father of the late Richard E. Heffron who died September 8th of this year, and brother of the late Frieda Stickney and David Heffron.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Service on Monday, December 8th at 10:30 in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery Sherborn.
Visitation will be on Monday morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. prior to the service.
