New Bedford – Janet Caswell, age 75, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. She was the widow Jack John Caswell and the daughter of Emeline J. (Peck) and Chester Knight. Born in Exeter, RI, Janet dedicated her life to upbringing of her family.
Her family includes her children, Kyle Caswell and his spouse, Cindy Severa, of New Bedford; the late Eli W. Caswell and the late Janet L. "Snooky" Caswell; 6 grandchildren: Ethan Caswell, Justin Caswell, Cristina Vandal, Jessica Jordan, Amber Caswell and Desirae Caswell; siblings: John Knight, Nancy Cooper, Jean Rucker, the late Paul Knight and the late Linda Kelsey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Caswell was cremated. Burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
