Cormier Jr., Joseph of Sagamore Beach, died peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Mr. Cormier is survived by his beloved partner of thirty years, Caroline Borden; his daughters, Cynthia Collins of Cape Cod, Patricia Cormier of Clinton, Donna Tervo of Winchendon; his son, Ronald Cormier of Dennis; his sisters, Barbara Gould of West Boylston, Annette Dior and her husband Douglas Campbell of Harvard. He is also survived by his nephews Rick Di Iorio of Harvard and Kenneth Gould of Tallahassee, FL; his aunt Marion Cormier of Hyannis; five grandchildren and several loving cousins.
The son of the late Oscar and Constance Cormier of Belmont. Joseph graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School, attended Northeastern University and was a veteran of the United States Army. After serving in the Armed Forces he enjoyed working in the scientific field for many years. Later, he opened a showroom in Bedford, MA where he was a Manufacturer’s Representative for the New England area.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Bonaventure’s Church on Thursday December 4th at 11AM. There will be no visiting hours and burial will be private.
