Theresa E. (Beauregard) Cappiello age 88 of Brockton, died Tuesday November 25, 2014 at her home after a period of failing health. She was the loving wife for 66 years of the late Louis J. Cappiello. Theresa was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Napoleon and Eva (Laliberte) Beauregard and remained a lifelong resident of the city.
A 1944 graduate of Brockton High School, Theresa was a stay at home mother who was also involved with helping her husband run the Wine Chalet in Hull and Cappiello’s Restaurant in Raynham. She had been a longtime member of the former Sacred Heart Church. Theresa enjoyed baking, reading, playing cards and watching classic movies. She also liked winter trips to Florida and summers at the family’s Nantasket Beach house. Theresa’s true joy in life was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Theresa was the beloved mother of Diane Wilbur and her husband Arthur of Taunton, Louis “Sonny” and his wife Janis of Brockton, James of Brockton, Donald and his wife Alexandra of Taunton, Robert of Brockton, Maryanne Leary and her husband Brian of Brockton and the late Dennis Cappiello; grandmother of Melissa and Amanda Wilbur, Marc and Lisa Cappiello, Stephanie Luddy, Matthew L., Michael A. and Sarah Cappiello, Matthew J. and Michael L. Cappiello and Vincent Cappiello; and great grandmother of Camila, Zachary, Nicholas, Brody, Kyle, Konnor, Ella and the late Giavanna. She leaves a daughter in law Mary Cappiello, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Beauregard, Rita Taylor and Pauline Landry
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday 4-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30am for a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 10:30am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
