Obituary

JARZEMBOWSKI, Stephen, 94 former resident of Dedham, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Tampa, FL. He was born in Boston on March 29, 1920 to the late Henry and Anna (Gurska) Jarzembowski. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years, Sophie and their daughter Stephanie Whitney. He is survived by his sister Frances Cunningham, age 93 of Ocala, FL, her two daughters Ann Marie and Joan and spouses, his nieces Elaine (Kobus) McKenzie and family of Joppatowne, MD, and Dianne (Kobus) Sale and family of Tampa, FL, his nephew Kenneth Kobus and family of Marlborough, and niece and nephews of the Fedorchuk family and other nieces and nephews of his family.

After proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps during World War II as a Staff Sergeant, Stephen became an engineer for GE and worked for them for over 35 years. He touched everyone he met with his knowledge of jet engines and his love of joke telling. He will truly be missed.

Visitation in the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Saturday, December 6 from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
