Evelyn (Arruda) Luiz, age 87 of Fall River passed away Nov. 24, 2014. She was the widow of Antone Luiz and daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Faria) Arruda. She worked in the local garment industry and she was an avid bingo and card player who loved spending time with her family.
Evelyn was the mother of the late Robert, Stephen and David Luiz, sister of the late Alma Case, Carmelita McGuinn, Dolores Belovitch, Joseph and Henry Arruda. She leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River FRIDAY at 8:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in SS. Margaret & Mary Chapel of Catholic Memoril Home at 9:30 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. www.rogersfuneral.com
