In Sandwich of Taunton, November 22, 2014 Robert Carpenter beloved husband of Linda (Kinney) Carpenter died at Hope Hospice after a long battle with cancer at the age of 52. Born and educated in New Bedford, Robert was the son of Charles and Thelma (LaFrance) Carpenter Sr. Robert was a manager of Volta Oil and New England Farms Gas and Conveyance Stores. He was an active member of the Christ Community Church in East Taunton and he enjoyed golfing, cooking and his dog shady baby. Robert was the brother of Anne Pryzstarz and her husband Peter of New Bedford, Debbie Greenwood and her husband David of Milford, NH and Charles Carpenter Jr. and his wife Louise of Norwood. Uncle of several niece and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday November 25th from 5-8 PM. A Service will be held at the Christ Community Church on Middleboro Ave in East Taunton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
