Jimmy R. Ross
Statesboro, GA – Entered into rest Friday, November 21, 2014, Mr. Jimmy R. Ross, 75, loving husband of Anne Whitaker Ross.
Mr. Ross was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Harlem, GA. He worked and retired as an Electrician with Georgia Power. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His passions included woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Family members in addition to his wife include his son: Tony Ross and wife Mary Allison of Statesboro, GA; daughter: Arlene Ross Freeman and husband Tim of Rincon, GA; grandchildren: Dalton Ross, Dylan Ross, Ross Freeman, Grace Freeman, Kayla Freeman; sister: Margaret Durant and husband Tom of Crystal Springs, FL; and by his brother: Frank Rose of Titusville, Fl.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Jim Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donehoo St, Statesboro, GA 30458.
