Diane L. (Colby) Baetzel, 53, of Lynn, died Nov. 14 at the Colonial Heights Nursing Center in Lawrence surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of Mildred (Reed) Colby and the late Arthur Colby, daughter-in-law to Mary Baetzel and the late Richard E. Baetzel and loving wife of 33 years of Daniel E. Baetzel.
Born, raised and educated in Lynn, Diane worked as a nurse’s aide for the Louise Caroline Nursing Home in Saugus. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother and friend who will be deeply missed.
Besides her husband, Diane is survived by her children, Daniel E. Baetzel Jr. and his wife Jessica of Lynn, Laura L. Baetzel and Amanda M. Baetzel, both of NH; her brothers, James Colby of Lynn, Stephen Colby, Richard Colby, Arthur Colby, all of NH; sisters, Maryanne Doane, Melissa Morgan, both of NH; and four grandchildren, Makayla, Colby, Marsha and Jerred Baetzel.
Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service from the NADWORNY FUNERAL HOME, 798 Western Ave., Lynn, Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Burial private.
