HERWEG, John B. 90 years old of Dedham passed away comfortably on November 17, 2014. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to the late Mabel Marie Herweg and father to John W. Herweg and his wife Liisa M. Herweg. Dear friend to Carol Kilroy and Joanne Maki-Cook.
Born in Chicago, he was a retired Naval Officer from World War II. He was proud to serve his country as a decorated Veteran. After retiring from the Navy, he joined Northrop Corporation for over 30 years. He was well known for his love of gardening and vegetables. His kindness to others was a reflection of his soul. He will be remembered by many.
