John Joseph Marcinkevich, 85, of Pompano Beach, FL, and Methuen, MA, passed on November 13, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1948. He served his country in the US Navy in the Korean War and the Civil Air Patrol. He retired from Western Electric and owned J&J Engine Service Repair. He was a loving husband of Barbara for 61 years, devoted and loving father of John and his wife Vicki, Carole Souza, Stephen and wife Janet, Deborah and husband Jim Fratturelli, Susan and husband Lee Simoneau, Sandra and husband Al Vanagas, Gayle and husband Alan Kamal, and David and wife Darlene. He was a loving grandfather of 15 and 6 great grandchildren. The family will hold a memorial service on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:30 pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA 01844. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
