Sister of the late Margaret K. Murphy, Sr. Mary Cordia RSM, Francis J. Murphy, Katherine T. Murphy, Msgr. John Murphy, and sister-in-law of the late Harriet Murphy. Aunt of Patricia M. Adler of Far Rockaway, NY, Clare F. Murphy of Yarmouth Port. Eleanor was a graduate of Framingham State College and purused a career in food service management in the Newton Public Schools and at the Deaconess Hospital, Boston.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph's Church, Needham, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
