BELLINGHAM: Elizabeth “Beth” O’Neil, age 62, died on Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014, at her Bellingham home following a courageous 7 year battle with ovarian cancer.
Born in Needham on October 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Margaret P. (Johnson) O’Neil. Beth grew up in Natick, graduating from Natick High School in 1970. She recently retired from her career as a Master Electrician employed at Wellesley College. She was a woman of many talents, from weaving beautiful baskets to knitting all sorts of things for family and friends.
Beth will be sorely missed by her family – brother Stephen (Brenda) O’Neil of Blackstone, sisters Judy (Joe) Sheehy of Sagamore Beach, Jan (Ed) Brewster of Bellingham, and Maureen Parsons of Bellingham. She will also be missed by her brother in law Don Parsons of Watertown and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours which will be held on Friday, November 21st from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. At Natick Common. Burial will be private.
The O’Neil family would like to thank Beth’s dear friend Laila Moore Niles of Arlington and all of her friends from Wellesley College for their love and support over the years.
