Concetta “Tina” Puppa passed away peacefully at the Aberjona Nursing Center of Winchester. She was 90. The daughter of the late Vito and Clara (Galante) Matarese, Tina was a devoted wife who was an integral part of her loving extended family. Dedicated to her family and friends, Tina opened her home to all her nieces and nephews where they were watched and cared for in their younger years.

The beloved wife of the late Samuel Puppa, she was a loving sister to Clara Clemeno and her husband James of Medford, Ann Porcaro of Medford and her late husband George, the late Marie “Chickie” Sammarco, Vincent and Joseph Matarese. She is also survived by generations of devoted nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday November 17th from 7:30- 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
