Jeannette M. (Rheaume) Deragon 86 of Privilege St. died November 3, 2014 at Home and Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late Hubert Deragon. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Ephrem and Marie Ange (Gagne) Rheaume. Jeannette worked many years as a waitress for the former Girard’s Diner and Chelo’s Restaurant.
She is survived by two sons, Normand J. Cote and Francis Fernandes of Lincoln, Gerard H. Cote and his wife Molly Kay of Ivins, UT; a daughter Claire M. Chubka and her husband Roger of Bellingham; four grandchildren, Normand, Jacob and Nicholas Cote and Jaime Murray, and two great-grandchildren Domenic, and Phoebe. She was also the sister of the late Roland, Albert, Lucien, Lionel, and Roger Rheaume, Fernande Ramirez, and Francoise Carrier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers donations to Home and Hospice Care of RI, Philip Hulitar Center, 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904-9826 in her memory would be appreciated.
