Loretta (Lucia) Patrie passed away on November 13, 2014. She was 74 years old.
Loretta was a graduate of Medford High School Class of 1959. She was a logtime resident of Malden and worked as a Para Professional for the Malden Public School System for many years.
Loretta was the daughter of the late Anthony and Aurora (Colasanti) Lucia. She was the beloved mother of Robert Patrie Jr. and his wife Sherri of Wilmington, Laurie D’Entremont of Melrose, Steve Patrie and his wife Theresa of Lynn, and the late John Patrie. Loretta was the dear sister of Patrick Lucia and his wife Susan of Braintree, and Tony Lucia and his wife Judy of North Reading. She was the cherished grandmother of Ryan Patrie and his wife Ashley, Kyle, Justin, and Timothy Patrie, Cory, Jessica, and Cameron D’Entremont, and Steven, Andrew, and Matthew Patrie. Loretta was the loving niece of Violet Lucia of Medford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Tuesday November 18th at 9:00a.m. Please go directly to church. Visiting hours will be held at the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday November 17th from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
