Laconia-----Yvonne Morin, 101, of 25 Union Avenue, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Thursday, November 13, 2014.
Yvonne was born October 20, 1913 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Frank and Marie Anne (Brochu) Morin. She was a lifelong resident of Laconia and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Yvonne provided childcare for many families in the Laconia area for several years.
Survivors include two sisters, Rachel Gilbert of Laconia and Lorraine Lavoie of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by three sisters, Lauretta Normandin, Theresa Guilmette and Jeannette Hurd and five brothers, Eugene Morin, Robert Morin, Bertrand Morin, Rene Morin and Lionel Morin.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 10AM at St. Andre Bessette Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, N.H.
Burial will be at a later date in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
