Obituary

Joan E. Merritt, 82, passed away peacefully on November 7. She spent her final moments surrounded by all her loved ones. She was the wife of Allen Merritt.
Born in Framingham February 12, 1932, the daughter of the late George and Verna (Merritt) Brown.
Joan “Grammie” was a strong, kind hearted, beautiful woman. She had a heart of gold and she loved unconditionally. She was selfless and giving. She was loved by everyone that knew her.
She enjoyed the simple things in life. Happiness for her was a chocolate, a cold Pepsi and pringles. She loved doing crossword puzzles and word searches. She loved all kinds of birds, bur her most favorite was the cardinal.
She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the glue that kept our family together. She will be missed every moment of every day and she will be in our hearts forever.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Linda George and her husband Richard.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Aimee Mercer and her husband Anthony Mercer, Robert Gagne and his finance Kristin Lawson, Teri George and Matthew George.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kelsi Mercer, Nicole Mercer, Bryan Mercer, Justin Mercer, Cameron Boudreaux, Callie Boudreaux, Tyler Lawson and Kaylee Freeman.
Her funeral services will be private.
