GILFORD – Norman R. Daigle Sr., 77, of Gilford, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia.
He was born on October 17, 1937 in Lowell, Mass., the son of Alfred and Adele (Prive) Daigle. Norman worked as a supervisor for Gen-Rad in Mass. He enjoyed woodworking, drawing and fishing. Norman was known as a master at tinkering.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pearl (Moreau) Daigle of Gilford, one son, Norman Daigle Jr. and his wife Carol of Gilford, one brother, Robert Daigle and his wife Olive of Florida, three grandchildren; Erica Duncan and her husband Thomas and Erica’s mother, Janine Page, all of Laconia, Natasha (Furbish) McNutt and her husband Shane of CA and Seth Page of Laconia, two great grandchildren; Ayden Duncan and Addison Duncan, both of Laconia, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, two sisters-in-law, Priscille Grigg of Lowell, MA and Rhonda Gray of Dracut, MA., two brothers-in-law; Norman Moreau of Lowell, MA. and Richard Grigg of Lowell, MA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Daigle Jr.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 1PM to 3PM on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. A memorial service will follow at 3PM, also at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
