Margery L. Hanson age 87 of Milton, formerly of Sharon and Walpole passed away November 8th at the Harrington House in Walpole. Born and raised in Sharon, she graduated from Sharon High School. After living most of her life in Sharon, she moved to Walpole and most recently has lived in Milton for the last 3 years. She previously was an active member of the Dorcis Women’s Group at the Congregational Church in Sharon. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed knitting clothing for her grandchildrenand knitted stockings for the Norwood Hospital and the Walpole Food Pantry. Beloved wife of the late Lowell. Mother of Carolyn Elterich and her husband Steve of Canton and Peter Hanson and his wife Gail of N.H. Grandmother of Kristen Elterich of Charlestown, Nicole Elterich of South End of Boston and Christopher Hanson of N.H. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday from 10 to 12 noon. The visitation will be concluded with funeral service at 12 noon and burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon. Donations may be made in her memory to the Walpole Community Food Pantry P.O.
