Laura Elizabeth Arrigg, 61, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Laura was born on June 1, 1953 in Sydney, OH to Frank and Charlotte Dashukewich.
Laura was the adored wife of Dr. Fred G. Arrigg Jr. of Andover. She was the incredibly devoted mother of Allison Arrigg, Tommy Arrigg and David Arrigg, all of Andover. She was the dear sister of Linda Malone and her husband Garry Malone of Plantsville Conn. Laura was the cherished daughter in-law of Dr. Fred G. Arrigg Sr. and his wife Emily. She was the sister in law of Dr Paul Arrigg and Dr. Claudia Arrigg and her husband Howard Koh. She was a fun-loving aunt to her six nieces and nephews; Christopher, Paula, Michael, Steven, Danny and Katie. She will be dearly missed.
Laura was a registered nurse at the ICU at Hartford Hospital and at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Boston. She also was a nurse in the Andover School system. She was the past president of the Andover Spade and Trowel Garden Club.
Laura loved family gatherings, pool parties and holidays especially when she had a chance to utilize her masterful cooking talents. She always had a smile and had that ability to always make others around her feel better in her presence. She was a magnificent woman with boundless energy who loved life.
Calling hours are private. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:30 AM at St. Michael's Parish, 196 Main St. North Andover.
