Richmond , Gary D. 62, of Manomet passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Gary leaves behind his loving wife Christine ( Graham ) Richmond of Manomet. Devoted Dad to Jeremiah “ Jerry “ Richmond and Elizabeth “ Lizzytish “ Richmond. Papa to Justin Tyler Richmond - Mercer. He also leaves behind Jennifer Curran and Daniel Purtle. Gary was born in Plymouth and was the son of the late Ivan “ Bud “ Richmond and survived by his mother Barbara ( Boutin ) Richmond also of Manomet. Gary is survived by 2 brothers, Steven Richmond ( Warwick , RI ) & Brian Richmond ( Manomet ) , and a sister Denise Frazier ( Manomet ) along with several nieces and nephews. Gary and his son ( Jerry ) Own and Operate Richmond Sand & Gravel. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family , watching his grandson Justin play baseball , was a member of the Moose Lodge and a lifetime member at the John Alden Sportsman Club.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (rte. 3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Thursday November 6, form 3:00 to 7:00 PM. We invite you to gather together and share memories we are having a “Celebration of Life” for Gary on Sunday November 16, 2014 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Moose Lodge in Manomet.
