Robert P. Hasenfuss age 87 of Easton, formerly of Canton passed at home November 2nd surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, he was raised in Dedham and graduated from Dedham High School and Northeastern University and was an Army Veteran of WW II. He began his professional career as a Purchasing Manager for Data Packaging Corp in Cambridge and later ran his own company, CESRA in Weymouth, working up until he was 85 years old. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time at the family home in Martha’s Vineyard. Beloved husband of the late Rita C. (Miller). Father of Mary A. Walsh and her husband Joseph of Norton, Joanne Nolan and her husband David of Mansfield, Kathy A. Pernock and her husband Christopher of Easton, Robert P. Jr of Dorchester and the late Diane M. Pierce. Grandfather of Megan DiVenere and her husband Matt, Kenny Pernock, Kate Nolan, Caitlin Walsh, Kyle Pernock, Mary Alice and Bridget Nolan. Brother of Mary Nickerson and her husband Nick of Dedham. Also survived by many other loving extended family members. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Wednesday morning at 11:00. Visiting hours prior to the mass at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
