Preceded in death by sister Glory Ann; brother John. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Bertha; children Jeanette (Mike) Willett, Ruth, Bob (Sue), Shirley (Rick) Berg, Dan (Lisa), Carl; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; lifelong friend Jan Bledsoe; and many other family and friends. Lifelong career trucker hauling for Hamms Beer and Pioneer Tank Lines. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. Longtime member and usher at St. Peter's. He served in the US Navy. A special thanks to the HealthEast Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday (11/6) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Private interment. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, and one hour prior Mass at church. Memorials preferred.
