Janet M. (Nunes) Marshall, 65, of New Bedford died October 30, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Fernando and Jeannette (Ouellette) Nunes, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend. Janet was well known for sending greeting cards to family and friends. She also enjoyed writing poems and stories. Janet will be deeply missed.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Deana J. Marshall and Jade C. Grace, both of New Bedford and Crystal S. Marshall of Abington, MA; a brother, John F. Nunes of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren, Luis, Alexander and Madeline Fortes and Ty Cooler; and her uncle Norman Ouellette and his wife Janet of New Bedford.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, November 3rd at 10:30 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, November 2nd from 4-8 PM.
