FALL RIVER… Antonio M. “Cubby” Carvalho, 63, of Fall River died Wednesday at home.
He was the widower of Nancy (Horan) Carvalho.
He was born in Bretenhna, St. Michael’s, Azores a son of the late Antonio V. and Ermelinda (Carlos) Carvalho and had lived most of his life in Fall River.
He was a Communicant of Espirito Santo Church, Alden Street, Fall River.
He was employed as a mechanic at Salco Transmission in Cranston before his retirement.
Mr. Carvalho enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
Survivors include 2 sons: Scott A. Carvalho of Somerset, Steven D. Carvalho of Westport, 2 sisters: Mary Oliveira of Fall River, Patricia Carvalho of Berkley, CA, 5 grandchildren, several Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 8 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be Monday 5 - 8 PM. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
