Obituary

Manchester– Donald Boufford, 81, died October 29, 2014 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on June 22, 1933 the son of Armand P. and Laura (Blais) Boufford and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He attended local schools and served in the US Navy Naval CB’s. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 98 and of the Precious Blood Monastery League of 1000 Men.
Prior to his retirement he was a heavy equipment operator and had worked for Harvey Construction, Lane Construction and Land Air Express.
He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years Helen (Bartlett) Boufford who died May 13, 2014.
Family members include one son Michael Boufford of Weare, four daughters, Colette Hill and her husband Daniel of San Antonio, TX, Annette Setzler and her husband Frank of Gilbert, AZ, Janine Chouinard and her husband Bill of Weare, Christine Czarny and her husband Michael of Williston, VT, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, one brother Paul Boufford and his wife Sheila of Manchester, 2 sisters Pauline Ducharme and her husband Donald of Lynn, MA, Constance Descoteaux of Bonita Springs, FL and Goffstown, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 AM in St Anthony of Padua Church. Committal prayers will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford NH 03110.
