Obituary

Raymond G. Liebeskind, 90 of Winthrop, MA beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Ukran) Liebeskind died October 28th at the Spaulding Nursing & Therapy Center, Boston, surrounded by his family. Born in Newark NJ to the late Alexander & Mary (Fielder) Liebeskind. Raised and educated in Newark a graduate of Weequahic High School. An 83 year resident of both Newark and Union New Jersey. An honorably discharged veteran of World War II he proudly served with the United States Army.
Mr. Liebeskind was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 560. He had been employed as a salesman with Consolidated Laundry. Raymond was an avid bowler and Mets Fan.
He is survived by his two daughters Debra Rubitsky and her husband David of Winthrop, MA, Lisa Kevett and her husband George of Parlin, NJ, his brother Donald Liebeskind of CA, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Gravesides services to be held Friday, October 31st at the New Tifereth Israel Cemetery of Everett, 232 Fuller St. Everett, at 12:30 PM. Memorial observances to be held at the home of Debra Rubitsky, Saturday Nov. 1 from 6:30pm-8:00pm & Sunday 2pm-5pm. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Torf Funeral Service, 151 Washington Ave. Chelsea, MA 02150.
