Roger J. Levesque, 90, of Salem, NH died Monday, October 27, 2014. Roger was born in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Yvonne (Croteau) and Alex Levesque. He grew up in Lawrence, MA and was a member of the US Army and served in WWII. He worked at Plycraft in Lawrence. Roger enjoyed volunteering at the Salem Senior Center, gardening, yard work and playing cribbage and 45’s.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Hazel (Smithe) Siegel Levesque and his second wife Eleanor (Jean) Berard Levesque. He is survived by his five children, William and his wife, Ann Siegel of Lemonister, MA, Robert Berard JR, of Rochester, NH, Maureen and her fiancé, Mike Bartlett of Methuen, MA, Lisa and her husband, William Fernandez of Salem, NH and Tracey Berard of Salem, NH; his sister Theresa Turner of Kentucky and several nieces, nephews, 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00-5:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday November 3rd at 10:30 at St Joseph’s Church in Salem NH.
