Grandfather of Erica, Danielle, Collin, Adam, and Kyle Stankard, and Nicholas and Amelia Diana. Brother of Rev. Albert Stankard of St. Stephen’s Parish, Framingham, Marsha Duprez of Hudson, Deaton Cahill of CA, Doreen Miele and her husband Paul of Hudson, and Colleen Stankard of Hudson. Brother-in-law of Rose Gisone of Roslindale.
He was a member of the USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild of New England, Sons of Italy, Roslindale, Villagers Club of St. John Chrysostom Parish, West Roxbury, and a volunteer at Faulkner Hospital. Retired employee of Boston Edison. Korean War Veteran, U.S. Navy.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Saturday, Nov. 1 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anne Church, Readville at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday, Oct. 31 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
