McGary, Vicki L., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2014, with her husband and family at her side, at the age of 86.
Vicki was born in Brownsville, KY on May 9, 1928. Her family moved to Louisville when she was a young girl.
She was a member of Long Run Baptist Church and the Eastwood Fire Women’s Auxiliary. She was an avid fan of University of Louisville athletics.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert “Bob” McGary; two daughters, Lina Woosley and Paula Dickhart (Steve); sister, Jean Webb; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 9:30am Wednesday in the chapel at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road; burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 12noon-8pm on Tuesday and after 8:30am Wednesday at the funeral home.
